Long Review:
I tried the Kilijaro Latte, which costs RM19 without a promotion at other
branch. It tasted good but was too similar to the 3-in-1 Old Town White
Coffee Hazelnut flavor. It's really not worth it as I can make 15 cups of the same coffee at home with just below RM20.
The Aoraki Chocolate also tasted good, not overly sweet but wasn't
special, as I can get a similar drink from other coffee shops at a lower
price. I still prefer RM10 Belgian Chocolate from roadside hawker.
As for the food, unfortunately, it wasn't good enough. I ordered the chicken
set, which included chicken drummets, wings, fries, and chicken tenders. The
portion was good, but the drummets and wings tasted like frozen Ayamas
chicken. They were crispy but lacked flavor, with the only taste being that
of chicken that had been refrigerated for too long. If you know, you know.
The dipping sauce for the chicken tenders was quite tasty... not sure what
it is but probably ranch? It tasted a bit tangy. The tenders were big and crunchy; however, they were
drier than sahara desert and definitely not tender at all. When I asked for takeaway,
only after arriving home that I noticed that the sauce was missing. The
tenders without the sauce taste so mediocre. I ended up not eating it at
home. If you want good chicken tenders, go to TSI Sport Arena around 5 PM or later and look for the "Tender Bandits" stall. Those are some good tenders.
When I came to this shop on 26th May during lunch, there weren't many people. However, the ones who were there looked like someone who earned minimum around RM6k a month. The shop is very close to 7-Eleven and Ahmad's Fried Chicken, so I was a bit worried it might be hard to find parking. Luckily, several cars were leaving, so I managed to park right in front of the shop.
At first, I didn't know how to order, so I just scanned the QR code and ordered for takeaway. They charged RM0.49 for it. I noticed the app asked me to pay at the counter, but I waited to see if the kitchen would start preparing my order anyway. A few minutes later, the cashier approached me and asked if I had ordered through the QR code. I said yes, and he told me I needed to pay at the counter first. What a stupid ordering system.
Anyway, when my order arrived, it came on a dine-in plate. Lol. I was too lazy to call the waiter to switch it, and I figured I'd ask them to pack it for takeaway later anyway since I probably wouldn't finish it all.
